Harbor Freight Light Holder

In my previous room, I did not have a night stand. As a result, if I needed to get up in the night, I had to walk through the dark. To help remedy this problem, I designed a small wall mount that could hold one of the many lights my household had gotten from Harbor Freight. This was one of my first designs in CAD ever. The original design was difficult to print as it was one part with a large overhang. It was filled with supporting material that had to be arduously removed. The supports left the inside of the design so spiky, that it had to be covered with felt to keep the light from getting stuck. I was very proud of the design, nonetheless, and it holds a special place in my heart. Around a year later, I revisited the design and improved it to be more easily 3D printed. The new design prints in two pieces and snap fits together.
